Pavilions Weekly Ad – Pavilions is a grocery store banner used by Vons, a supermarket division of Safeway Inc. in Southern California. Although stores like Vons, Pavilions markets are richer and feature a large selection of organic food, wine, and other specialty foods. A place in Anaheim Hills submitted by Vons in 1985, they were showpiece of their new image. Stores also tend to be larger than the typical store Vons, because many of them contain full service restaurants, expand service areas and specialty offerings as a standard feature.

The first location opened in eshoppingnewsworld.com in October 1985 in a 55,000-square-foot former supermarket discount Zody’s building. The new store would include a seafood shop that sold live fish, a full service butcher shop, bakery, tortilla, small pizza parlor, ice cream shop, deli, florist and pharmacy.
